A queen, a wolf, and babies galore!

Ok, I know I haven't posted since Evan was born, but as you can imagine...things are pretty busy around here. A good busy though:) Things for us are great and it seems like time is flying by so quickly. The last couple of months have been exciting so here is a quick recap...

My sister-in-law Charese had her baby girl Skylee Christine on May 8th!

My friend Aimee had her baby boy Tyson Rex on May 14th!

My sister Amber had her baby boy Jackson Trey on May 21st!

Alex received his Wolf badge from Cub Scouts in February

Meadow won "Queen" at a dance competiton and graduated from pre-school

Eden is still as goofy as ever

Evan is smiling and cooing a ton as well as holding his head up and almost sitting up by himself.

Sam has been busy working in the basement, although progress has slowed down since the funds have run out.

So as you can see, we are plugging along and life is great! God Bless...

He's here!

Evan Samuel Foster was born on Thursday February 26th at 7:11 in the morning. He weighed 6 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 inches long. It was quite a surprise considering we still had four weeks left until his due date. Nevertheless, everything is great and he is as healthy as can be. In fact he was a really good size for being four weeks early. Of course I think he is the cutest baby ever because he looks like his dad, but he really is the cutest baby ever! He is such a blessing in our lives and we are so grateful that he is healthy and everything is ok. He has a ton of long blonde hair and his dad's olive skin. So far everyone is adapting well and we are especially proud of Eden. She seems to be handling the new baby just fine.
Already I feel a sense of completeness with our family and it has been awesome to be home and spending time together. We have so much support here in Morgan and so far the adjustment has not been as difficult as I had expected. I am sure there will be times when we are overwhelmed and exhausted but the joy these beautiful children bring into our lives FAR outweighs the hard stuff.

We also celebrated Eden's and Sam's birthdays in February...busy month I know:)
My friend Carole made the cake for Eden and it turned out so cute. Thanks again Carole!

Thanks everyone for coming up for her birthday...it was a fun night and we love and appreciate all of you.

Sam's "sympathy" belly

Sam's birthday was fun too. We had cake and ice cream right before church...smart I know. For dinner we went to our friends Ryan and Sara Garrett and had crab legs and spaghetti.
So as you can see, it has definitely been a super crazy month full of family, friends, and surprises! We are so blessed to have a new baby in our home and lives. Thanks for all of your prayers and support. We love you!

Holiday Update

Hello Friends,
Just a quick post to play catch up with you. The last couple of months have been fun and action packed as I am sure all of yours have been.
Meadow turned 5 in December, and we had a really fun time celebrating that with her. We went to Chuck-E-Cheese one night and had cake and ice cream with friends and family the next night. Christmas was a blast, we kept it really low key this year and it really was great. I actually tried the whole "shopping the day after Thanksgiving" thing with my sister-in-law and I think it is something I will do every year. I always swore I would never go out with the "crazies" and shop black friday, but I think we saved enough money and got so much done in one morning that it was worth it. We had my side of the family up on Christmas eve and it was such a great night.

New Years was really fun because our neighbor organized a big party at the local bowling alley. There was bowling (of course), karaoke, games, and tons of great food. It was so nice to be somewhere safe where the kids could enjoy celebrating the New Year too. I was so impressed because all three of the kids made it till midnight with no crying or fits. It was fabulous!

Sam is working on finishing the basement, I am trying to get ready for the baby, Eden is taking a few steps at a time and is into EVERYTHING!! Meadow loves tumbling and in my opinion is very good at it. She is doing tricks I never could. She has her dad's humor and keeps us laughing all the time. Alex started Jr. Jazz basketball and is of course loving it. He is such a thoughtful boy. One morning we woke up to the smell of pancakes and discovered Alex in the kitchen making breakfast for the family.

So as you can see, all is great with us and although we are busy I have nothing to complain about. We have been very blessed. Life is good!!! We love you all and wish you well.

Hi everyone...
I know it took me forever to post pics of Alex's baptism, but I am a dork and went off to the church without my camera!! Duh! Luckily my friend Carole took pictures at the church and all is well. Alex's baptism was awesome. He was lucky to be baptized at the same time as his friend Dallin. (they were born on the same day) Grandpa Pickles (aka Ken) gave a talk and Meadow was supposed to sing but got stage fright, so I had to fill in for her. It was scary considering I haven't sung publicly for almost 10 years. Sam did a fantastic job on the baptism (his first) and the Spirit was so strong, it was a beautiful day. Thank you everybody who came up and celebrated Alex's big day with us. We love you all and are grateful for your support and friendship.

Some other fun things that have happened since our last post...

Meadow won a costume contest at the business trick-or-treat

Eden is standing up. Sam thinks a few weeks and she will be walking!
Mom and Alex had a date and went to the jazz game. Thanks uncle Doug for the tickets!

We are doing well, hope all is well with all of you
Love you tons

Its a ...Marine?

Hey everyone,
So we had a really exciting week...first off we found out that we are having a BOY! We are so excited! The due date is still March 24th and everything looks great. We have been so blessed to have healthy babies and pregnancies and are grateful again that everything seems to be great.
Another awesome thing that happened this week was Alex's birthday. I can't believe that he is 8! This means baptism, cub scouts, and more independence. Holy cow it really does go fast. I used to roll my eyes when "old" people would say things about how fast life flies by, but now I am one of those "old" people. Thank you everyone who sent cards and gifts for Alex. We really have a great family and appreciate all you do for us.

We had a really fun "Marine Corps Boot Camp" birthday party for Alex. First the kids had to eat dirt and worms (crushed oreos and gummy worms) as to get accustomed to eating like a Marine. Then they had an obstacle course Sam set up in the yard with laser beams, target practice, grenade throwing, and rope swinging. It was a blast! Our niece Tayah ended up winning against all those boys! GIRL POWER!

Sam has been back and forth from Chicago for a few weeks and it really has been a challenge for me to keep up. On top of that he has "wood badge" training for two weekends. I seriously don't know how single moms do it...it will be fantastic to have him back home for good for a while:) All is well here...hope all is well with you.
Love you all,
The Fosters

Okay...here we go

Just so you all know, this stuff really intimidates me so please don't expect too much.:) I am going to make an effort to keep updated and see how it goes.
I suppose I should start with an update on all things Foster. Well, things are great for us. We absolutely love Morgan because there is such an intense sense of community here.
Some of you may not know but we are expecting our fourth child on March 24th. We don't know yet what the gender is but we are really excited to bring another sweet little spirit into our family. We are positive that four is the final number and relieved to know that our family will be complete.
Alex is loving second grade and just finished football. He had a great time and really showed a passion for the sport. He played outside linebacker and towards the end of the season was also put in as a running back. Recently Sam and Alex went to Chicago together to work on a site for Sam's work. It was a wonderful opportunity for "the boys" to spend some time together, and they both had a great time.

Meadow is in pre-school three times a week and is taking dance and tumbling. She loves being a big sister and is really helpful with Eden. She wants me to let you all know that she loves chocolate sprinkled donuts.
Eden is still the happiest baby ever and is crawling all over now.
I am working at the Dance Shack three days a week and it is working out very well. I have five competition teams and really enjoy my job. I am still in the Young Women's presidency of our ward and absolutely loving it. I love the girls and I swear I learn more from them than I could possibly teach them.
Sam is doing great at Focus and loves his Varsity Scout leader calling. It is perfect for him and the boys think the world of him.
So as you can see things are busy as usual, but life could not be better. We love you all and hope all is well with you.
